A minor selection of images from a recent wedding of Jodi and Andy at The Last Drop Village from Ian Robinson Photography… Ian knows this venue so well, having covered many weddings at this venue over the years. It has so much character, you are spoilt for choice on where to start your photography coverage! You have the quaint little pathways, a water feature, infact two water features! You have the indoors the room to undertake all of your group shots, should you encounter inclement weather. Then you also have the views… And the views are amazing. Sweeping fields and the beautiful hillsides, it really is a fantastic venue… Perfect for a large Jewish wedding!
We started early. Ian taking the preparation shots of Jodi, with Jason covering the tish with Andy and the boys. Jody was so relaxed, it was clear that she wasn’t going to be fazed by all the comotion going on around her. Hair done, make-up all finished, now it was time for the more formal shots. I say formal, but in reality there really wasn’t too much formality at all, we very much went with the flow.
Once our pre-ceremony shots were taken, Ian with Jodi and Jason with Andy, then it was time to meet, in the bedekan room. Both Jodi and Andy’s excitement was palpable, it was a pleasure to witness, they were beaming to finally be here, together. It was then onto the ceremony itself, a beautiful service it was too. We took the opportunity to take all of the family groups under the chuppah. This decision was key to capturing the shots that we managed to attain later in the afternoon, it saved us so much time, not to say fuss to the family too…… We took the opportunity for a minor break … Jason ably mingles amongst guests during the reception, capturing all of those informal, fun groups while guests are relaxing. Now it was time for Ian, Jodi and Andy, Jason joins us and were off to capture our ‘specials’… Ian finding the perfect location, posing Jodi and Andy, with Jason ably assisting with lighting and equipment. Once we were finished, it was time to party!
