Meet Charlie and Finlay, 3 year old identical twin brothers… They recently had a portrait session taken together, along with their young sister Matilda. Charlie and Finlay turned out to be quite a double act.
When they initially arrived, along with Mummy and Grandma, I could see that they were quite shy and a little clinging towards their Mummy. Not to fear, I thought and so I continued conversation with Mummy. I noticed one of the boys starting to show an interest in our conversation. So, out I blew a big raspberry!… I received a response of laughter.. Fantastic!.. It wasn’t too long before both boys were giggling away at my silly noises and games.
I managed to position the boys together with their little sister, they were so attentive, it was a delight to behold, bless them. Then, while I had the boys positioned, we were on a ship, sailing along the open sea’s… ‘Careful that you don’t get your toes wet boys!’ ‘Can you see any ships?’, I called…. Their response was instant… I think you’ll agree, we managed to capture a delightful series of shots.
Matilda had her own selection of shots taken, amongst pink feathers. She was quite content, kicking away, with her arms a waving… It looked as if she’d just hatched!
